Ordo Xenos Inquisitor: Conversion Part VI

Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Conversion
Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Conversion

Modelling wise, My Inquisitor is almost complete, I have added shoulder guards to him, as his is dressed in his carapace armour, so I figured he could do with the extra protection. I have also completed the sword scabbard on his back

I am still in need of a name for him, so please, please leave suggestions in the comments section. This will probably be the last post of him before he is painted as that will be the next stage.

Shoulder Guards

So I decided to go with adding shoulder guards, they do look a little plain at the moment, but as someone suggested, I will paint on the details rather than try to model it. I have used green stuff yet again to make the straps holding the guards in place under his arms.

The Shoulder Guards are from my brothers bits box, Imperial Guard ones think. I did shave off the skull detail on them as I did not want that, to much skull for my liking.

Sword Scabbard

The Sword scabbard is done, it should look a lot better when painted and does look better with normal eyes as opposed to close up images. I tried to give the impression that it was held on with straps not just glued onto the model.

With him virtually finished, I am really happy with the models outcome and is hard to think it used to be an Eldar model. I do still need to touch up some blemishes with a little liquid green stuff, but that is quite superficial.

The next stage is painting him up. I just hope I don't make a mess of it. To help me out I would really appreciate some advice on painting different coloured leathers?

  1. This is a really nice conversion and model job Dale. I don't have any ideas for names for you, but wanted to let you know it's a great looking model! He's going to shine with paint!
