That's right, if you play any of these two games at the club on Tuesday night, you only pay £1 to play.

Further more, if you bring along a friend who plays, you both play for FREE!

The Games are: ‘Empire of the Dead’ or ‘Assassinorum Execution force’.

That’s right, you read it correctly! We are running £1 gaming session when you play a Specified Game system on a specified night. Tonight Tuesday 13th January and Tuesday 10th February, anyone who plays one of the following game systems, will only pay £1 per person to play!

The Games are: ‘Warmachine’ or ‘Hordes’ by Privateer Press.

Seasons Greetings From PCG

Oh, and a happy New Year too...

It has been a fantastic year of hobby fun at Pork Chop Gaming, and the club has grown so much in the last 12 months with so many more game systems being played and on offer to play by the club itself.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who have come along to the club and the regulars that help make it what it is today... Without you there would be no dice rolling, no laughter, no epic battles and one less place to enjoy playing your preferred game system.

Tuesday 30^th December 2014

Not long to go now, so one & all please invite any Tabletop miniature / board game loving friends to come along on what is looking to be a great day of gaming!!

Membership to PCG has now officially started for 2015, and will be available to buy on the day... at the end of the day we will hold the draw to see who wins FREE gaming for January 2015!! 

Open from 10am to 6pm for an anything goes day!! 

EVENT PRICE: 

£5 to game all day. 

£3 for Members. 

Bring someone new who plays & you will both receive a £2 discount off the event price. 

WARHAMMER FANTASY BATTLE: 

A huge 1000 point drop in game will be hosted by Carl Smith (awaiting full details by empire messenger) 

CAPTURE THE PIGQUILA: 

Dale will be inviting 200pt Kill Teams to storm his forgotten stronghold, held buy the last unit of "Pigryn's", to steal the sacred "Pigquila" standard!! 

Haven't got any models? That's fine, there will be a selection of pre-made Kill Teams from different races for you to use. 

INFINITY: 

Robey Jenkins will be inviting any and all to come try out a few shots at OPERATION ICE STORM!! 

ARENA OF DEATH: 

Those nasty Dark Eldar are calling for all mighty character/leaders to come and prove they really do deserve to call themselves HEROES!!!! 

ORK BASH!! 

Toby & Graham are leading a Waaargh!! They are looking for 5, 1000pt 40K gamers to come and have a go if you think you got what it takes to stop the green tide!!! 

WINGS of GLORY WW2: 

Chip shall be taking to the skies over 1944 Europe with the trusty RAF, so come along and fly some Classic WW2 fighters in this great game.

5 6ft tables for whatever games you care to organise, please post up below if you'd like a game

Pork Chop Gaming Winter Blood Bowl League

So winter is nearly upon us and the countdown has started to PCG WBBL (Pork Chop Gaming – Winter Blood Bowl League).

Teams are gathering from all across Gloucestershire to play in this blood bath of an event, have you got the team, the skill and the guts to play in our 1^st Blood Bowl League?

The first match will be played on the 1^st Tuesday in December 2104, subsequent matches will be played at regular interval after that.

If you wish to join, comment below (or use the contact form on the right î) with your teams ‘Race’ and ‘Name’.

3' x 4' Wings of Glory - Aerial Colour Map

We have a very nice aerial colour map of a countryside location measuring 36" x 42" (there about) that's 3' x 4'.

This is being kept at the club so anyone that fancies playing a game of Wings of Glory either WW1 or WW2 era can use it. Please book in advance to use the map as we only have one at the moment.

We also have a copy of the Rules and all the tokens required to play the game. Quite a few members are playing the game, so if you want someone to play or an intro game, just ask. (no planes required)

Games Night: 16.09.2014

Games Night at Pork Chop Gaming

What a fantastic night with lots of different games played including Wings of Glory WWII, Dropzone Commander, X-Wing, Warhammer Fantasy and 40k.

If you fancy a game of Dropzone Commander our resident Guru Al will be happy to give you and intro game, you name it he has it!

We also now have our our 3' x 4' Wings of Glory map suitable for WWI or WW2 games. The club also has a set of the rules and tokens and with a few of us playing either Allied or Axis, you can take your choice of what you want to play and get an intro game or a full on epic battle!

'Pork Chop Gaming'

Today I would like to put another shout out for our local gaming club, located in the centre of Cheltenham, in the 2Pigs, Pork Chop Gaming! 

We offer and play a huge variety of games, which is by no means exhaustive, a list of what is currently on the table can be found 'here'.

The club has plenty of different sized tables and lots of scenery that is ever expanding, suitable for different types of tabletop games. We also have some quieter space available for role-playing or other calmer games. (Some people played a game of Risk last Tuesday)

Pork Chop Gaming also have some BIG GAME NIGHTS that run into the early hours, just right for those APOCALYPTIC sized games or campaigns.

Pork Chop Gaming is open every Tuesday night from 7pm-10pm

WOW... What a fantastic turn out it was last night, lots of new people came along and joined in the fun, with games of Warmachine, Lord of the Rings, Deadzone and Warhammer 40,000.

Apocalypse Games Night: 20.06.2014

Apocalypse Games Night at Pork Chop Gaming

So PCG hosted an Apocalypse Games Night on Friday. it was great fun and ran into the wee hours of the morning, our first for 7th ed Warhammer 40k and we definitely need more practice at very large games. It worked out at about 8k per side over two 12' x 6' tables. I will let the pictures do the talking this time.

A great night of gaming again, lots of Warhammer 40,000, including some Kill Team missions being played out in a story driven campaign. Deadzone showed its face again along with Lord of the rings, and a new Print and Play boards game, Zombie Plague was also played.

Games Night at Pork Chop Gaming

Last night saw another clash of mighty armies fighting various battles in their respective war torn realms. Lots of 7th edition Warhammer 40,000 games, a Warhammer Fantasy battle, Warmachine High Command card based game and Star Wars X-Wing, with two massive space ships (and they were big).

Again we had a couple of new faces and really encourage new comers to the club, all are welcome. We also have a couple of female gamers that attend regularly, so girls, if your interested and want to get involved, come on down and join in.

Games Night at Pork Chop Gaming

Another fantastic gaming night yesterday. Lots of people, tones of new faces and a great time had all round!

PCG is still growing and welcome any new comers. Please spread the word of the club and bring along your friend for a game. Remember, we can give intro games for new players and they need not have their own army to come and play.

Lots of Necron armies turned up for this Games Night, but were soon sent back to their tombs by the other armies. I wonder who will prevail next week?

Another fantastically successful night at PCG. Lots of new a veteran Warhammer 40k players, with a game of Deadzone, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars X-Wing going on too.

A great atmosphere was present with the buzz of excited gamers of all ages, playing different genres.
